Default Whiplash?

How do you loosen up the elevons? Mine are real tight. Also if I clear coat the plane will the clear coat crack at the hinge line? I am going to us the Parma water based paint and have a clear coat put over it. That's how I do my Heli canopy's.
Thanks,
Craig

Hi Craig,

The choice of paint is ok, We've done this ourselves. The paint is very light and covers well. The hinges are normally tight, but not overly so. You can work them back and forth for a few minutes and this usually loosens them a bit. The clear will not crack as the primer is quite flexible. Be sure to lightly sand the primer with 400 grit paper or with a scotch brite pad before painting.

What motor and servos are you using? Good luck and happy flying

Dan,
I think I am going to try the OS 50SX w/pipe. I haven't picked out the servos yet.
Thanks,
Craig
