Muggenkid and all you other curious ones!!!!! DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!!!!! ...................................I started construction of the mig today!! So far have glued the tail section, installed landing gear and aileron servo's... For right now I am using the stock fixed gear until I see how it flies.. It better fly good first before I spend almost the price of the kit alone for retracts!! Did you use the stock gear wire and strut covers with those retracts?? Looks to be so.. I will do the same..

Will not be able to get back on it tommorow night.gotta go to traffic school[:@]... 4 hours that I could be building[]..Plus I got to finish my yak 55 foamy.. Yeesh!! this is a busy winter.. TailDragger.............
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........(setting back with my hands behind my head now) "Now thats what I'm talking'bout" Cool...nice detailed pics also.
Not a bad call (standard landing gear before retracs) Just so you know how she flies. Pretty smart move. The wing looks to have some "thickness" there so she should settle in pretty much slower than expected. I can't wait for your flight report.
**** By the way...can you get a buddy to video tape it and put it on here????******** That would be sweeet. There is NO vids of this thing. Yours (and a couple other pics) are the ONLY ones I have seen of this bird other than the website wich does NOT give all that much of a feel of what its like.
(not many people have their airplane setting on a "white background" in real life)
Eagerly awaiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm taildraggers buddy and yep I'll film it and post it up when he get's the plane done and it warms up. I think i'm going ot have to race him anyways. With my Seagull PC9 with YS.63FZs for power. It ought to be a good one.

Read some articles from Guys in England who have this plane most are putting large amounts of weight in nose. One guy added 14 ounces of weight.[X(] Hope he did not have a .75 engine on it.[]

Didn't realize you have to be logged in to see them. It is easy to do. When you log on do a search for VMAR then 4 or 5 down is link. Titled mig-21 by VMAR.
Admin. has been deleting some of the pics, still some on pages3,4&5.
Look for paperclips to click on pics also.

Mastos,
That site shows some REAL nice jet kits....
I can not get Babblefish to translate it properly.
Do you know who the manufacturer of the jet models is ?? Is there a direct product web site ?
Thanks for your help....

Bob,
these guys have an ebay-shop: http://stores.ebay.de/Rc-Tronics-Topp-Rippin
Maybe not every Jet is in stock, so write them a Email.
It´s not an ARF-Kit!!!

Mastos,
Thanks..... Kits are ok. I mis-read the website. In some cases they had 2 version of the same plane, I thought perhaps the second one was an ARF version.
I sent them an email. Lets see what I hear back. Real nice looking birds.

I have many flights on mine. After an initial flight, I went back and retrofitted it with retracts. Much better. and looks awesome in the air. Mine is powered with OS 61 2 stroke, SpringAir retracts, and ground hugging interceptor radar...:-)
I love mine, it may become one of my favorite planes to fly. The flaps work great at making it a stable landing platform. Retract blocks are super sturdy. Can't say enough good things about this plane.
