RE: The "Rifle" thread.....
8x9 prop ? You will be ok with that, but Id wear some goggles and a hard hat I do not like the 8" prop hubs at these rpms.
A stock APC 9x8 or 9x9 is pretty good. Probably would pull better than the 8x9
You may be much better off using an APC 8.8x9.0 or 8.8x9.5 pylon prop, and trimming it to 8.25" if you wish to push the rpm's back up a bit. A stock 8.75x9W or 8.8x9.0 is fine too. The pylon props are much thicker at the hub, thinner blades, pull hard at the higher rpms. As long as the plane can "move", the D-1 series Q-500 props work quite well.

Follow the break-in proceedure. You want the engine running over 17K rpm while still a tad rich. Utilize a 9x6, 9x7 or a cut-down 10x6. Get the RPM up there above 17K rpm for a few runs on the bench. As the RPM creeps up a bit, that is ok. You want at least 10-15 minutes on the bench with the break-in prop. Then switch to the flying prop. Use the 9x8 to start with. After a few flights, you can probably go with the 9x9.
Personally, I have a clipped 8.75x9 that I use. I like to use the D-1 props with the thicker prop hubs.

Angel,
That 15% will work just fine. Thats all use.
However, you may want to use Omega instead, or add an ounce or two of castor oil to the Cool Power. Especially for break-in.
It will run ok on the Cool Power by itself after you have a little bit of time on it. Just be sure to keep it an extra 100 rpm or so on the rich side.

Hello guys
I put the .50 Jett in my old Rifle to breakin the motor. before I put it in the new one. All I can very nice eng. FAST.
Had to move the battery back to keep the CG in the same place.

RE: The "Rifle" thread.....
Have been reading through the rifle thread with great expectation, last post found was 5-8-05. I am interested in the rifle, but can not find it anywhere. Am looking for something that would be superfast with a BSE jett 90. Where do I find the rifle?

Saw your pics of the bacement, great working space. Some day I will learn to post pictures and send you some of my cave just to meek you feel like a neat freek! Also saw that old red brown racer that is just gathering dust and rotting with age. Needs a SJ 50 and some fun. I would clean, store and exersise it for you if you beg nicely.

Hello...........
If your going to use small servos' , At least use the servo with metal gears.
Make sure theres no slop in the control surface.
I took the Rifle to the Big Apple Jet Rally, And a couple of jet pilots REMARKS" ( "that Rifle is moving!!!!!!!!)
I will have the other one done in two week.
see ya

Slowly proceeding....
Now I'm trying to figure out where to mount the needle. (no space behind engine , using backplate mount)[X(]
Thinking of mounting it on a little hatch on left fuse side behind F1
