Also for sale are these engines, Does anyone know anything about them?

about the Jett engines, but can't find anything about the OS engine. It looks like an older engine to me.

Engine in the original post appears to be a SJ-50 engine. Good choice. Has the R2 crankcase, with a conventional carb mounted needle valve on it, so it is at least 3 years old.

(you can tell an R2 crankcase by the 'belly band' running under the bottom of the crankcase - R1 crankcase engines (pre-1997) are very difficult to obtain parts for)

Second post....

Left photo appears to be a Jett BSE FIRE.50 - not sure about the pipe, looks like it might be a rossi pipe. It's not one of Dub's modified MAC pipes.

Center is a Jett QM40 engine. Looks like an R2 crankcase, aluminum venturi.

Right photo appears to be an OS-VP40 F-1 engine.

If you are "purchasing" a used jett engine, drop me a pm.

Hi Eric,

These engines are not in the engine section, they are for sale in England, don't think he'll send to the US.

Check out ebay and I'm sure you'll find some good engines.

Probably just as well you did, I shouldn't buy expensive engines for models that are still in kit form

Hi Dave,

Thanks, sorry I beat you too it

I don't have anything ready for it, I'm planning on building a plane for it to go in.

I haven't put a engine in my Magnum yet so it might end up there, but I'd perfer to build a nice plane to show the engine off a little bit more.

I'm still thinking about the other engines he has for sale, I'll wait until I get my hands on this one first [8D]

I'm in the same boat, I really want one of these engines, and have ordered a jett90l, I thought I had a plane for this engine, but have since decided not to fit to the one I have , so now , I'm going to build a plane around an engine, rather than the normal way of building a plane and find an engine to suit

Ive searched high and low for a patriot, although there are many "great planes" kits / arf's out here, no one imports the patriot, and tower doesn't export due to size.. so , not much luck although Ive keeped a look out for the patriot..

I just got my hand on my new engine. It's a work of art, very light and I'm one very happy boy.

Just need to finish building a plane for her now...

Does anyone know if they import the Patriot to the UK?
