Hi,

I have seen this kit for sale and it looks like a nice plane, does anyone know anything about it? It looks like a larger version of the Dara kit.

How easy s it to build? How does it fly? What engine would be best?

looks ok , like it says in the name , it's suited to a .40 two stroke, sorry dont know how it flies though or what it's like to build[ul]

maybe you could even run a .46 in it, that should make it boogie , I think its got a short wingspan of just over 1100mm or 43"

ISort of guessed that it would take a 40, guess I should be more specific.

I have 3 engines available for my new planes,

Rossi 40
Rossi 53
Sports Jett 50 (I'm dying to put it in something )

So, has anyone seen this plane, and would it suit one, or more of these engines?

options:

1) try the Jett 50 on it

2) put one of the rossi's on it, admitt to yourself that you dont need the Jett 50, now or in the future, and sell the jett to me dirt cheap because i need one and im a nice guy

I have seen the kits, and finished aircraft in the past, but I have never actually seen one fly From what I hear its a good flying aircraft.

Nice looking plane. About the same size as most QM40 aircraft.

Let me ask around a bit. I seem to recall having some notes on one somewhere.....

The internet shop is also selling the Flair Dara kit for only £50, so I think I'll pick up one of these too.

the cowling looks a little tight on this model , although a its very sleek looking build, an interesting wing, if you have a jett 50..that sounds like a lethal combo

The plane has pleanty of room in the front for a standard .40 engine. The SJ-50 would be a great choice. Lots of versatility on prop choice. And it will idle

The only problem, is I seem to recall the Flair discontinued that kit some time ago. Some shop might have one on the shelf though.
