Saito 91 rpms
I have a Saito 91 in a EZ Voodoo, had the rpms checked yesterday at it was 11,000 rpm. That was with a APC 12X10. Was wondering if that is to many rpms for this engine? If so what would be a good prop to try?

RE: Saito 91 rpms
Personally, I would prop that engine down more. Get it closer to 10K on the ground at peak. It will unload a bit in the air, and the last thing you want is to float the valves. My experience has been the Saito 91 had to be kept under 11,500 at all times.

RE: Saito 91 rpms
Run 30% nitro heli fuel and prop it at 10000 static, and it should run about 10500 airborn. It is camed to have peak horsepower at 10500. I have ran 18 gallons of 30% heli fuel threw my engine and it never missed a beat.
