Default Spidey Whiplash ready to fly!!!

had a batman painted on mine..it should be here next week.. just ordered the os50 for it..should go nice and i don't need the jett 50 cost to have fun going fast. 150 mph is just fine here. i hear the jett50 goes upto 200+ mph......wear me out it would.
keep me posted on your power choice and how things go..i want input on throws for surfaces that still are controlable in flight and give a good landing flair...

Default Spidey has flown! (Twice!)

Perfect blue skies and a light breeze were the order of the day at South County R/C in Rhode Island today. Spiderman Whiplash was fired up....and after a break-in tank of fuel, thrown into the air much to the delight of the 20 or so onlookers. He did not dissapoint. Several speed runs and large sweeping high speed maneuvers were performed to the delight of all and a safe landing was achieved by a shakey kneed pilot, yours truly.

A second flight was achieved after a large Dunkin Donuts coffee settled the nerves. All in all, a great debut and a marvelous airplane. Perfect training for those of us that dream of turbines and such in the future. Don't take your eyes off this plane for a second, because you'll never find it in the sky if you do!....

More fun than Pamela Anderson in a hot tub!....BigD

Default tuned pipe added

Added a tuned pipe to the OS .46FX which is starting to get broken in. Needless to say, I was a bit unprepared for the performance increase the pipe gave to this beast!.....Almost lost it .....and, it sucks the fuel about twice as fast!.....this is going to take some practice....

What do you think the increase in speed was with the tuned pipe?? Is it a macs tuned pipe? Just about ready to fly mine with the same setup.

Thanks
