Dust Holder
Thanks jlong34016....I like the looks and simplicity of your design and I've tried many ways to hold mY DD. I had mine to briefly lift off and fly while bungeed to one of those styrofoam and plastic plane holders...

test run
Worked great sunday. Heavy enough to hold without any anchors. The bottom is 1/2 ply, front is 2x4, top holders are 2x3. I glued foam inside the "C" area(under the 2x3), and put a piece of foam under bottom of dust where it sits at its lowest point. Make sure to leave enough of engine sticking out front so when you take it out of holder running it wont hit anything. I folded a piece of foam under the back once it was in to stabilize it.
If anyone wants i could measure it but i just stuck it together without a tape measure by eyeballing it.
It also holds the whiplash perfectly too.

Dust Holder
Eyeball method.....I've already found a piece of 3/4 ply and enough scrap wood to build it......I just laid the DD on the ply and marked the outline with a sharpie....I also drilled a hole in the rear of the ply so that I could insert my tail holder through the ply and into the ground......I'll probably be finished before you read this....many thanks...
