RE: T-38 (.40 to .50) size...........
There are 2 tails diffrent you can use, and wings.
Can go with a reg.ali set up or more scale look with the flaps and ali.
You and use either a flying tail or stab with ele.

Looking good!! I can't wait for the release of the '90, full flying stab with a flap style wing, fully geared for retracts.
Speaking of retracts, what is the recommended set? Spring air 102HD or the new Robart versions? Knowing the choices, I could get my order for them early.

For the .90 size
Use the low profile retracts no more than 1" to 1-1/2" Depth. Spring/air or air.
I also have an old BVM set which are about 1/2 Depth. I will try soon.
For the .50 size
I use the Hobbico retracts. and I know that most of you guys think they suck.
But I have them for 2 years right now with no problem. I know that you think there sloppy
and moves round to much. there are set screws that needs to be set up to make it tight.

Hi Angel; I tried to E-Mail you without success. I'll be away for 2 months; so I'll try to contact you again then. I would prefer the 90 size T-38 if plans/kit is available.Cheers TED PRITLOVE

...just ran across this thread. Nice project. Ive kicked the idea of drawing up plans for a T-38 propjet myself but it looks like Angel hit the nail on the head with this one. Good job! Let me know when your plans come out...

RE: T-38 (.40 to .50) size...........
Hello guys its been awhile
But I don't know wy would someone would take a plane and plans, so that i can get a AUTO CAD to make a kit or an ARF. And have not done nothing at all yet.
If you can not do it just send it back and i will look somewere else, to get my things done. I guess i have to start all over again.
Sorry for the disapointment...

Hi Angel,
Last year, when I was over at JunoRC to pick up a few plane kits, I think that I actually saw your T-38 there. If that was it, I would definately want one myself. I like the Thunderbird scheme. I also like the NASA trainer look. If you ever do get around to creating plans for the 90 size, I would love to buy them.
Happy flying and soft landings!
