I had a simmilar problem with this GRRT Pipe.
This GRRT pipe is what I am using on the Q500 .40 MVVS.
This pipe is tuned to resonate at 20K ++
You are not getting on the pipe at 18K RPM. You need to turn at least 20K RPM.
Try using a standard 8X7 APC prop. This will get you on the pipe.
Get your ear plugs ready.
From there you will have to experiment with different props.

Thanks
Thanks murrat.
I did get it to get up on the pipe. And I been hauling some ace around the sky since. On thew ground I tac at 24,200 and in air not really sure. But it is more than enough to please me and the other guys at the field.
I recently took it to Alabama for the holidays and the guys were really impressed with it. A few guys there are flying some delta's also but they said they were nothing like the DD.
Actually one guy (the owner of field) kinda of got an ill attitude with me after flying. For some reason I think I took his title for the fastest plane at the field that day.
