Weston UK Magnum set up tips Please
I have a used Magnum and am going through it now and would like to hear what are some good set up tips
Control throws
elevator linkage set up

I fly at 5000ft black top runway

I ment 5000ft altitude...I do sometimes fly at maloof. My home field is on the base 1200ft .....Maloof 750ft both are nice

I used to fly at both Maloof and in Belen. Preferred Belen. Had a lot of family type affairs there. Just had to get used to flying off of the dirt there. Lot of night flying in Belen. Have not been there since 96, but when I retire in 5 years, I still have my house in Rio Rancho.

John what are you doing in Egypt? Doing any flying there? I used to fly all the time at maloof until I learned about the field on the base at Kirtland. Only a few guys fly there and such a great runway. Never flown at Belen........Lou

working on an AH64 Apache helo simulator for the Egyptian Air Force. Contract is up in 10 days, going to be moving to Marana, AZ. I am ready to come home to where there are hobby shops. I have been in the middle east for the last 3 years, and we have to wait on the mail for everything. Want to build a Shrike 40 with an OS 46AX and retracts when I get home. Starting to feel the need for speed. I'll be in ABQ on the weekend of the 20th. MIght have to try to stop by the fields and see who is there that I remember.

Ok to answer your questions.
Weston Magnum:
elevator 10 mm up and down, ailerons 8 mm up and down. CG 120 - 130 mm form wingroot.
With the eurotec 50 goes like a bat out of hell. I lost mine on first filight[:'(] I got hit with some one turning on the radio. Lost it in about 1 sec. It was going about 150 at half throt. good luck have fun and don't take your eye off it!!
