Hi Blockbuster,

My F20 never made any noises till the elevator linkage came off & it made the flutter noise into the ground....

The Kange may have had 1 of IC4 Products air whistles fitted to it maybe ? I havent seen the Sportsman ARF advertised for the last 6 months here either. I think I have 1 of the last NIB 1's around.

SA kits are gone as they should be for ripping of Juno RC.
Your Kangke will be fine with a .46 FX. The one I am currently flying has an old FX and was recently radared with consistant 106 mph passes.
The buzz may be the rudder thinking about leaving town, they have been known to do that at high speeds. Mine makes noise from the wheels vibrating.
If you don't mind building, Juno sells the kit for under $75.

There are only two factory color schemes for the Phoenix F-20. Red, or blue. Anything else would be custom and I can't recall seeing any customized Phoenix versions. Lots of customized Kangke, DC, and Sportsman F-20's out there.

I don't know what is fast for you but my F-20 is slower than my Kaos with the same engine OS46AX, it look good but this plane has to much wingspan to be fast.

I'm glad that you enjoy your, it was a good price at $40.

The engine you have is pretty good...... If it is running well, I'd stick with that...

if you want more speed...

1) 9x7 prop to start with - get rid of the 10x6.

2) bolt on a jett-stream muffler (additional 1000k+ rpm). Stick with the 9x7 and also try a 9x8

Yer good with the TT .46. You will not get much over a buck regardless of engine. Don't overrev the TT without replacing the rear bearing with a hi performance one.
Have fun flying it, F-20s are my fav too.[8D]
