The throttle repsonese with this prop on the weton motor is great. no hesitation at all when you hit the throttle. We have a helper throw it. It's not as user friendly as a Diamond Dust or Outlaw...But it sure is good looking in the air. And both of the ones here have a cool whistle to them.

best prop we've used so far for the best speed has been apc
9x9 the next would be 8.25x8.75 & 8x9
if you got the first bunch of the combo kits that wasn't a webra
the 2nd generation was the webra thats the one i have a fellow club member got one of those it ran good but i think the modified
webra has considerably more power and throttle response is instance.to get a good launch get your helper to throw it just like a javelen with a finger right on the back of the tail and throw it straight a head never had a bad launch on any one launching this way.and the only plug i've found to work right and last long is a mccoy or a os no.9 i'm running 15% cool power tried al the way up to 50 - 60 % no real advantage .

you can cut an inch off the headder to get it running better on 8x9's, and richen up the bottom end to get the idle to more normal levels with good throttle responce and midrange.

ermm.. i cant, use a tube cutter to cut an inch off the headder, and a small screwdriver to tweak the mixture...
its just what other club members have done and it's worked. i'll have to let them know about the other prop sizes, tho we use 5%

i dont own one, but 5 friends in my club do, so what you wanna know?
its damn powerful, easy staring, reliable, so far long lasting, easy on plugs, and if you cut 1" off the headder it runs better on 8x8 na d 8x9 APC's ( which it likes best on our Prosynth 2000 5% )

motor is hard to beat for the price and performance.i cut 1" off my header but it still doesn't perform on the 8x8 as good as the 8x9
or 9x9 but that could be the altitude where i'm at compared to other people's.the only thing i would suggest when you get it would be to take the back plate and the head off and flush the motor throughly i didn't check mine until after the second tank and the second plug it was full of metal shavings.didn't seem to hurt the motor but i wish i had gotten them out first.

weston 50
thank you...power, reliability, user friendly.....I have used the Webra Speed 50 in several planes and very satisfied with it...want a little more muscle on a new GP Patriot, and the Webras fit the small compartment best I expected it to be over two bills, thank you for the advice..
