Builds faster than any plane I have ever had, everything is done for you. Flies good, I got it into an inverted flat spin on accident, but luckily got it out of it before it was too late. Its pretty fun to fly, flies pretty good, landings are fun, was doing touch and go's not letting the nose wheels touch, the plane does great high alpha flight, almost harriers around.

Its fun! Cant wait to put retracts in it.

Thanks John, what engine are you running in your Phantom? I was considering the OS 91 or Jett 90 for the Mig 21. Are you going air of mechanical retracts?

Nobody has the mig yet? I'm pretty hot for one, but want to hear some reports first.
When you say "easiest arf ever", what's done that's so special and different?
Did you pick up the Mig also? Phantom looks good, nicer than the old GP kit...

What I mean ET, is the engine mount is in place, all pushrods are already run in the fuse, the LG are already on their mounts, you just screw into wings, tires and wheels are already on the wire legs. Its just all done, all hinges are in and pinned, even the holes for the control rods are already in the surfaces.. awesome

I spoke with Richmond RC yesterday afternoon, the Mig 21 will not be available to late May or early June. That explains why no one has seen or flown one!!!

John V.

Give me some idea of the speed she can do with the 91?

I just finished my latest project the Electric Jet called the Sniper. So I am looking for something new.

Can the electric Robart retracts get in the F4 mains and nose?

Ant Nasty habits that you have seen other then don't get slow in a turn.

Thanks

Ian

Ian, the plane is not a super fast plane, phantoms are draggy with the big intakes and gear down. But that said, it still moves good, one day Im going to invest in a radar gun, Im curious how fast my jets go.

Bad habits, you can get slow in turns, just dont try to hover it, because with the right stick positions, it will flat spin! Slow flight is not a problem, and if it had more rudder it would actually do a harrier!

The plane flies pretty dang good, rolls are decent, point rolls look cool. Im hoping to get the review done by this weekend and sent off so you can all see it.

Im not familiar with the electronic retracts, but if they are similar size to spring airs they will work fine, there is plenty of room!

Those snipers are sweet, let me know how she goes!

John, which spring air retracts are you going to install? I placed my order for the Mig 21 today and would like to install air retracts, should take the same ones as the F4. Thanks

Great question, I have them in my hand, but there is not one mark on them saying what or who they are from.
