Man I like that set up. A buddy and I built one kinda like that a while back. We went to Home Depot and got the PVC fuse and some aluminum "L" channel to connect the tail fins. It looks exactly the same except for the fuse. We built up the wing with the most lit as possible.
We really was not sure it would even fly right so we wanted the most lift. We set up the engines as close as possible in case of dead stick to keep it somewhat straight in flight. We used to 40 FP's for the power plant. As a matter of cat it flew flawlessly. Was not that fast with those engine but really cool hearing the engines rev up in harmony. Still have the plane in the shed. I need to take some pics of it to post on here.
