Default Glass the wing of a world models dago red or not?

Hi just bought a world models dago red and was wondering about glassing the wing because im going to use it as a pylon racer but if i do glass it i would have to take the center ultracote out and that would look crappy. because i cant glass it on top of the ultracote or can i?

thanks
reinaldo

Default Hmm..?

Well, I have never had the Dago but anything I fly other than a slow flyer , I glass the center section for strength!

I would remove the covering to get a better bond, but $5 bucks says others will recommend going right over it (and it probably works also.. )

I would use .75 oz. glass and Z-Poxy, or regular epoxy thinned by rubbing alcohol. (You probably already knew that but what the heck..)

Let us know how it works out either way! BTW>> What's goin' on the nose??

Default Yup..

The glass will be transparent to an extent. It does leave a dull finish over whatever color you are over.

Let us know how it works over the covering!

Good luck with the Maiden
