Yeah you did a sweet job been posting on the other forum, but this needs more life...So I will post here for all the questions I have...How much does your finished jet weigh in at???Are you planning to add the missile/bomb pylons to the wings too or are you gonna keep it a super speed demon???Tell us how it flies with all the extra work you've done

Must say thats a great looking F16 [8D]
I'm using the standard mechanical retracts & wondered if the Robart strut you used on the front was a straight swap or needed modification. (I'm new to retracts)
Any part numbers would be appreciated, because I would like to achieve the same look on my own F16
Cheers
All the best for the maiden flight........

GBRAPTOR, If you go to the other F-16 forum THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER,STRONGER,AND FASTER. page 12 you will find the info on the front strut. My brother Buddude8 has pics of it there. You will have to cut the strut leaving just enough room to put the insert in. Then you drill out the steering arm and JB weld it to the strut. Hope this helps.

here are the finished pics of mine and my brothers f-16s. He brought his out to california to do his mainden flight together with mine. If weather permints we should have them in the air on monday. Both planes are set up with full house controls. including under a condition we can use alivators with a flip of a switch. that should be interesting. anyways hope you enjoy the pics. hopefully we will get some pics in the air with the two together.

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW WOW WOW. Super nice man. I really really like what ya have done. I had a glassed and painted Kougar some time ago. Have another in mono cote and turned out alittle lighter. I also have and not flown in a long time a glassed KING KOBRA. Alot of work but different. Did you use cling wrap over the resin?
AGAIN AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: my cermark f-16 project,fully glassed,now painted
this is where this should have been posted instead of a new thread
after six months we have finally made maiden flights on our f-16s. The final weight on both of these is just over 11lbs. the dub 90lxs ran perfect hitting just over 15,000rpms after break in. We flew them first on monday on a very overcast day. I should say that the color scheme we picked makes it very hard to see. the planes where very predictable but needed power in the turns with the extra added weight. take offs took about 150' to get off the ground with about half elevator throw . in the air neither one of the planes needed any trim and where very easy to fly straight and low. Top speed looked to be around 100mph, hopefully more after the engine has a few flights on it. If not they where very fun to fly, especially together they looked like two real fighters up there. to bad we will never have the chance to do that again, to costly to send them back in forth from cali to florida. Landing where easy with the wind and just very fast with no wind. We tried all kinds of differnt props and the one that was the best was the 11x8. here[img] are some pics on the tarmack and a small video of mine doing take off,fly by and a landing. speed51 is on the left and im on the right in the last pic.
