Whiplash vs. Diamond Dust

RE: Whiplash vs. Diamond Dust
Totally different, construction for the DD is a few ribs and fiberglass rods and a few wood pieces, it's a kit, built and covered. The Whip is pre built fully sheeted instal you readio and engine and fly. I've never flown a whip but I would think they fly quite a bit differently too...

RE: Whiplash vs. Diamond Dust
The Dust is much cheaper but you have to build it (very quick and easy build though).
The Dust is much lighter then a Whip (usually a pound or more).
The Whip is more durable. Especially when landing. Clear packing tape makes a good field repair on the Dust when the covering tears or gets holes when landing.
There is a review of the two side by side here on RCU.
