You can order them from:

www.jettengineering.com

I believe they have a special going on the .46, you may want to look at that.

Default Sport Jett .46 Sale

Daven is right, That is this weeks special, look in the Hanger Specials to get the link giving you the lower price.

I'm Running a Jett .50 in my Great Planes F-15, which is pretty draggy, and I'm getting well over 100 MPH. No radar on it yet.
But it's easily faster than everything except the nelson powered Diamond dust at the local field.
Woo Hoo !!

I Feel the NEED !!!!!

Thanks for the info guys, I'm gonna order one, but my question is will the 50 pull that much harder to be worth the price difference, or will the 46 be okay. It going in a Patriot, that I have just started. Just looking for something to be in the 100mph ball park.

Thanks again.

Default Either Jett is excellent

I have flown the Sport Jett 46 and 50 on many airplanes. The 50 will turn an easy 500 rpm more on the ground but the 46 really did unload in the air. May be a shorter stroke. My crude top speed calculations were simular for both engines when on the same plane.

You might want to consider the slightly shorter SS (Super Sport) muffler. It seemed to work well with sport props but really let the pylon props scream. I think either engine will get the job done for you and the quality of Jett engines is excellent.

Default Which one?

Greetings;
The Patriot is far less draggy an airframe than my F-15, The Jett .46 should break 100 with it.
My Jett .50 is in dire need of a bearing change and I'm still breaking 100 in the F-15 !

Having never owned a Jett .46 I can't say how strong it is but Dub Jett sure seems impressed with it. I think I'd go with the .46 if 100 is fast enough for ya

Default cheap 46

if you want a cheap 46 you may want to look at a popular auction site with four letters in its name. it is attached to a whiplash.

Several of us here have DC F-20s or Patriots. Running Jett.50s or YS.45. if your going to spend the bucks for a Jett.46, then go for the .50 and be done with it.

jlong, is that yours? what the bottom look like?

I have a Jett 46 running on one of my fun fly planes right now. Absolutely insane! It will eventually wind up on a speed ship some day. Beautifull engines. My buddy has a new BSA (bar stock ccrankcase) .50, hasnt flow it yet but test ran. Sweet! I'd never hesitate to buy another JETT - you really get what you pay for.

Bar Stock Engine. (BSE) From what I understand, the BSE series is mainly for Pylon and Control Line stuff. You may want to go look at the thread here title "OS46fx vs Jett" Go with the Jett.50
