I don't know that plane though, but I'm thinking... with 2000 watts input power you should be able to go a lot faster... but all depends in the airframe though. Too much drag and you can throw all the watts you want at it, you will still hit a brick wall. Have you played around with different props? Can you make a decent dive and pick up some speed? That will tell you a lot about the capabilities of a certain airframe.

I'm very tempted to get me one of those F5D planes, I can tell you that... electrics are not what they used to be... they are really moving these days!

Yes this airplane is no F5D platform, that is why it takes monster ammounts of power to go that fast. The nominal voltage of the pack is 22.2V and it pulls over 100 amps. Even when you factor in some voltage drop under load that is still in the 20000 watt range. Keep in mind it has a 45" wing span and the wing is thick enough to fit 2 or 3 F5D wings stacked on top of another. The wing at its thickest point is about 22mm thick. Of course have landing gear doesn't help either, the fuse also has a painted buldge to look like a canopy. All this adds up to drag. My guess would be the Trick is more draggy than a Q40 yet makes about the same horsepower or a smidgen less than a Nelson hence you end up with a plane a little slower than a Nelson powered Q40. I can go up to a 7.4x8 q40 prop and probably pickup a good 10mph however I would gain about 20 amps and draw and exceed the power rating of the packs, the motor, and the speed controller when operating under 6S voltage.
