Default Example - vmar mig 21

Hi folks,

I received this photo yesterday from a gentleman name Jerry in Virgina. V-mar Mig 21, Jett 90L power. Robart retracts, weighs in a 10.5 lbs. He noted that he has unlimited vertical. Im not sure which prop - but I will check. Builder appeared to be pleased with both the kit assembly, and the flight performance.

"Not as fast as my pylon racer but fast enough to get guys at the field to land whenever the mighty MiG takes off!"

Well, there ya have a speed perspective. Apparently it move right along

the vmar mig 21 rocks,,,i have a g90st in mine and she can eat up the sky, for a sport propjet that is....i think vmar is really putting out some good planes ....and im going to have to brake down and buy one of those jett90 engines,,my g90st will not allow my mig to go unlimited verticle, but she still does pretty good...

My new vmar f18 hornet coming in june and a jett90 engine,,,oh boy look out!!!!

Bobby:

How does "speed racer" become a 3d'r? If I recall, you are the dude that likes to do rolls and inverted fly around the pylon poles with a Q-500? Guess that sort of answers my own question. I enjoy 3d also, but limit it to my rcxplanes foamies and cap X. Does tend to improve your overall flying ability a bunch. My Matney Zoomer with the Jett 50, black pipe and 8.75 X 8.5 apc will maden this weekend. Am getting a little shakey just thinking about it. Will get you some pics prior to the maden flight, just in case she does not make it back in one piece. ENYOY Bro # 119 (The old man)

its pretty simple.. I'll fly just about anything with an engine on it Im just as happy with my J-3, as I am with a QM flying out in front of me.

(and I sometimes fly a few things that have motors on them too...)

Of note on the Mig, Jerry informed me he is preparing a product review on the project for RCU. Keep an eye out for it. Will contain lots of photos, and some good information.
