Juno RC F-20 is an F-5 rear end in kit form or the Phoenix F20 Arf is actually the F-5 rear end.

Sportsman aviation F20 is an F5 too.

Just a side note, we have a couple of new cadet pilots training with us at the moment, that are ex Malaysian Airforce F5 drivers.

The real 1's sound like a lot of fun to fly

This is a personal opinion of course, but I think the Sportsman aviation, juno, direct connection F-20 design is one of the best flying jet style "prop jet" that's around. It will perform jet manuevers, looks great (always draws attention from the slower folks at the field), and it doesn't cost that much. I saw speeds in the 130+ mph range in level flight.

With the Sportsman and Juno being one and the same, first things I'd do is rip off that covering.

I was looking at something on Hobby People yesterday, and somehow looked over the Sportsman catalog list. I didnt see the F-20 in there anymore.

I read here last year that Juno owns the design now and that Sportsman "may" have copied it. So their "may" have been legal issues. So that "may" be why it's not in the catalog but I "may" be wrong.

Does anyone know if the sportsman ARF is still around? Will either one take retracts?

Julian, The SA was copy of the DC/Juno kit. After Juno found out about it they disappeared. junorc.com is where you can get a kit. Last time I checked they were under $75.
The Juno will take retracts just fine, look at CH's. The SA would be a pain in the six but might be possible with a lot of surgury.
