Default EDF or GDF?

Hi, I am building a 1/12 scale f-22 (60" x 45" WS). I want to use GDF to power it, but some guys said EDF has higher RPMs and would make it faster.

My f-22 might end up on the heavy side of EDF, 3-4 pounds.

Do you guys have a suggestion of GDF or EDF I could use to have more pounds of thrust than pounds of weight? Thank you!

check out the Vector II at www.shredair.com and the EDF it uses. It is one of the fastest EDF planes out there at 225 +/- mph

Airbike:

THANK YOU! EXACTLY what i've been looking for. Damn ! Thats the sh@t right there ! Now I can build my F-22 around something like this!

Wow that big fan can handle 19lbs of thrust ! I'm sure 14lbs could be achieved with around 3-4kwatts...[>:]

Excellent... I guess I can twin fan the DS51-3ph ! I'll try to keep my F22 under 8lbs... [8D]
