Thanks for the info Bob. Neither the Polecat or the short Whip tank were listed when I bought my Whips. Now I won't have to cut anything structural.

Rick,

This is fantastic news. The Whip is teh best plane of it's kind that I know of. I'm really excited to know that they will be available again. Keep us posted.

Regards
Kerry

It would be nice if the Whiplash could accommodate a fuel tank larger than 6 oz. The Jett 60 doesn't have much run time on 6 oz. of fuel.

How long do you wanna fly that thing with a Jett-60LX? [X(]

If the elevons were less "stiff" that'd be all I would do... Maybe put the servos under the skin-

With a 5.5 oz. Tetra bladder tank I get about three minutes of flight time from my modified Jett 60 FIRE on a DD which should be very close to the Jett 60 LX as far as fuel consumption goes. Regards to all, Scott.[sm=biggrin.gif]

There wont be any changes except for reinforcing around the forward spar that would allow you to extend the opening for a longer tank without screwin with the planes structural integrity.
I got the first sample of the production run a week or so ago and it was fine, but we need to tweek a few more things before I release it to production. We'll also be supplying enough fiberply to cover the tank area and hatch too..
There will be hard spots out on the wings lined up about midway on the elevons for those of you that want to have the control horn on the center of the control surface.
This will allow you to use a surface mount servo, or something like a JR 9411 flat and make a cover with the skin you cut out.
The old way of mounting servos will still be available too..

The good news is that it wont be much longer..

Just happy to be able to release this puppy again..

I'm glad to see such a good reponse to the news.

This is a great little plane..

Without commiting to anything, I feel pretty good that the price will be around the same as before..

oh yeah, the elevons will be very easy to deflect no more need for 8 billion ounce servos..

Ahhh! Music to my ears Rick!

If the Elevons are easier to move then the standard servo location is fine

Anxiously waiting!

Mr BAGOSTIX,
It's been over a month from your last post and no word. How's the production run coming along?
Are we gonna be whipped any time soon.

Looking really good on the last mods..
Sorry for it taking this long, but we want to be sure that its the best it can be.... much better alternative than never producing it again..
Patience boys and girls, it will well be worth the wait..
whip it, whip it good...

Don't worry he don't build anyway.

He lives in Maximus?[sm=50_50.gif]

While not intending to change direction but CP has a pretty cool design that is very similar if you ask nicely...[sm=wink_smile.gif]

The kabash was put on the Whiplash clone from Florida.

And still no whip from ACM.

Soon NITRO PLANES will have a Delta out and the market will be flooded.

We have seen and flown their bobcat-50 or gas-bobcat
