I did a lawn-dart special with my 60 size F-20 on the maiden flight and powdered
the nose all the way back to the wing. I rebuilt it though. I had to replace the
crankcase on a brand new Tower .75 too. The elevator fluttered, and the servo
came loose....[]

Well, looking back now, i can honestly say that our field is not nearly big enough for prop jets...tree lines are too close to set up for a nice approach...but it was fun as hell to fly, i loved every minute of it and when we do locate a better field i would for sure get another prop jet...GOT THAT DAM NEED FOR SPEED NOW lol

Anywho, L8R 4 NoW Revvers...

for anyone interested here is a link to my/our website http://home.cogeco.ca/~ranger_420/ for more R/C Videos ....not an official club but something we working on

Mine is still on Jett's Website. Remember that one Flyboy? Same as you on the maiden. Take off was great and made a few trimming laps and time for the high speed pass. Got way out their and way up their and dived her on too me. The sucker was full speed. Elevator flutted, broke the servoe and never pulled out of it. What a mess! Jett 90 on the nose. The crash was just so impressive that I never really got upset. it was like. Wow! Sometimes you don't feel so bad when it's totally destroyed vs looking at a long fix it process.

Mine was the same way, Cyclic....two or three laps to get it trimmed out.

....then.....The Flutter !! Mine went in on about a 45 degree angle. []

One thing i remember is I had some advance warning from you because yours happened first. So I took precautions (so I thought). I bought a larger HD something servo and use 4-40 rods back their. That sucker was solid. I honestly think the elevators were to big. YOu look at the size difference onour 40 size f20s inrelation to elevator and stab. Very small elevators and not once have I ever heard flutter on it. This Phoenix F20 I have is going to go through some serious bashing to include the elevator and wing size.

That is also one of the reasons I have not dived back into the Flanker. Some big elevators on the back end.
