Default World Models Midget Mustang

I seem to recall a few of our Revver Bros out here have built and flown the WM Midget Mustang.

Anyone have a photo or three of the engine installation?

Anyone flying one with a Jett 90 in it ?

Thanks Cyclic.....

Any 2-c engine install photos would be helpful.

Im trying to figure out, with an inverted engine installation, whether it will need the "toni" extensions to get the muffler clear of the cowl and fuselage.

I found a few older OS91 install photos, with a stock muffler, and that appeared to install ok, but I was not sure if he had to use an exhaust extension.

Bob,

I had the G90 in mine. Mounted horizontal with a Slimline muffler. Don't have any pics however. The Jett 90 would be a great motor for it.

On another note, before the 1.08 I had 2 91fx's that didn't cut it. Anyways, I had them mounted sideways and used the stick muffler and needed a half inch OS extension to get it to clear the fuselage I'm sure a pitts muffler would have been fine/better.

this thread may help you a bit. no close up of the install. you need to install it inverted and add an extension.

Its a fast plane, maybe a tad bulkier than the Toni. I think a Toni or Minnow could take it.

That is exactly what I was looking for. I thought I had it bookmarked - must be on the laptop at home. Thanks!

I have someone looking to install a 90LX in one of those, and I think we might want to throw in the Toni extensions
