The website was redone a short time ago so I don't think Jeff would go though the effort/expense to to quit now. I did see a notice on the website that they would be closed for a time and reopen soon in October. Let's just hope he just needs to to pay his internet bill when he gets back.

Crap! Apparently NO DELTA making company can survive???

Where is the Whip BABOSTIX (Rich)?

How about that comnposite by Wildside?

Do we have to resort to the Machracer now?

Seems like everything worth getting, has to be gotten on ebay ---[sm=drowning.gif]

With all of the modelers out there buying Chinese built ARFS, its hard for any kit manufacturer to stay in business. Hopefully that trend with change one of these days.

i hope i get my kit by oct 22 , thats when i take leave from work , and maybe have some fun building all the projects i have purchased lately

will keep you posted

if you guys want to arrange a grp buy, then we might be able to get more models made. Need at least 5 kits minimum order

price is 60 UK pounds , + shipping

Count me in either way. A set of wings is easy enough to make.
I like the looks of that thing.

Put me down for 1. That leaves 3 to go.

I was in the market for a duster myself. could'nt get one was going to build one (plans are on the internet for a coroplast model). I was going to use the plane for the coroplast and sub in balsa where needed.

I walked into my local hobby store and found the Model tech Mach Racer, put out by Global models. It takes a .46 2 stroke and although it isnt a Duster it does come close. For $99.00 street price, I thought to myself I can't build one for that price.

It does fly ok for a delta. Needs lots of up for the landing flare. At full throw it will has a spin rate out of this world. The plane weight is 3.5lb ready to fly and will go vertical without slowing down.

The only thing I dont like about it is the covering scheme. Yellow, white, purple and black on the top and black/white checker on the bottom. On a overcast day it is hard to tell top from bottom.

I lost a radio crystal on my last flight and it came down in some trees. Easy fix but need to recover the entire plane. I selected chrome and yellow top and solid yellow bottom with a big stars and stripes on one wing pannel. I am sure I will be able to tell top from bottom now.

I am in the process of adding a pipe to the Macoa .46.

Should be interesting on my next flight.

I called Graves R/C this am. & they are all sold out. Thanks for the lead anyway.

Yes I have scratch built alot over the years & I would love to get a copy of Diamond Dust plans.

Graves R/C told me he thought there were hobby shops that probably still have them but don't realize people are looking for them so if anybody runs across them be sure to e-mail me.

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks, Mike

Just seen your comments about the Windsock Mini Delta 2000.
I am Richard Seammen of Windsock Models. Yes, Windsock is 'sort of' out of business but we can still get the kits for you ar any of your contacts that might want them.
I am currently working in Czech Republic but my wife Annette is still in UK so can arrange kits if wanted.
When I return to UK I will probably start up Windsock again but just don't have the time at the moment.

Good to see the new German record - time to dust off the Delta and see what we can do!
