Default Best fast ARF/TT 42 GP match?

Guys,

Looking for an fast ARF match for my TT 42 GP ... any suggestions would be appreciated. I like the F20 Tigershark, but will the 42 support it? Or any Quickie T-tail type design - Thanks!

I'd go with any of the Quickies....the F-20 wont go very fast with a .42.

Thanks Dave, what do you think of the Sportsman Aviation Sonic 500 with the TT 42? I've read that the 500's quality is questionable ... reliable or not?

The Great Planes Viper will move pretty well with the 42 and a 9X6 prop. Not extremely fast but faster than most others and it is easy to get in the air for $119. The Predator II is another ARF that you can fly very quickly. With the viper you will need to mount the battery under the fuel tank as this plane is setup for a 40FX which is a heavier engine. The small battery packs will fit in the tank compartment and make it ballance.

Hi Nitro Dew,

If you go down the Viper route, here is a link to a page that gives some tips on how to set it up properly

If you have a computer radio that will do V-tail mixing, go with the
Viper....if not, go with the Sonic.
