Default R E - A N I M A T E D, Magnum-R

Well, Alan at Weston was just awesome to deal with... Fixed and/or replaced anything on my engine that was not perfect, and got it back to me from the UK in record time! I have nothing but good things to say about the Weston UK folks!

I do have a < new Magnum R but I am happy I was able to glass the nose back on her pretty easily, and I got my West-50 back like new---

For those who may be tuning in late- My West threw a rod roughly 13 seconds into flight #1, coupled with the CG which leaves the airplane SEVERELY nose-heavy, I ended up with substantial damage to my Airframe to go with the trashed West engine.

It is kinda ugle now but at least I am ready to roll!

I have to apologize to whomever wanted me to take the backplate off and take pics- I had 40 minutes tonight in the shop so I threw her on there... Sorry about that.

Now put some Glo-sticks on it and bring it out on the 17th and rip up the night sky!

Great news....

Run two tanks of fuel through it on the ground before you fly it...

I think it's about time to start cutting up that header.... and when you're done with it, start on the pipe.
Once your engine is properly broken in you'll find that the Weston pipe is too long for true performance.

Is it just me, or is the magnum 50 V1 just a modified webra speed 50?
I just finished my magnum and took it to the hobby shop for a spinner.
The guy at the hobby shop says " nice webra, where did you get the anodized parts for it?"
I looked at the webra web site and they look the same?

Yes same case, but totally different internals. And that's what counts

The case if from a webra. The important parts are all different and purpose built. Its not a modified W50.
