Default Another F20....

Well, after almost a year of on and off building, I was able to finish my DC F20. This replaces my 1st F20. Went with the Mag 52, B&D retracts. Flys real nice, even better than the 1st. Anyways, thought you guys might want to check it out.

It's all orange on the bottom. I thought about adding some decals, maybe to the wings, but thinking of just leaving it the way it is. Nice and clean.

JZ- That is killer looking! Reminds me of an old school pattern ship like an EU1A

How do you like the B&D's?

Nice work boss--- I know the Mag-52 is VERY strong...

Cheers!

I've been running 10% for the first few flights. Doubt I'll fly her much till the spring now. The Mag, is running real good. I had read about a lot of mid-range problems with this engine, but mine runs pretty smooth. Zero hesitation on takeoff. The B&D's work well too. I had a small air leak, which I fixed. Too bad they have been discontinued. I am running a 10x7 APC now. Might try a 10x8, then when I get comfy, go with a 9x9. The 9x9 looks so small though. With the 10x7, I get off the ground in no time.

Go from a 10x7 to a 9x8 APC. The 9x9 is a BIG load. Only my Jett-50 can turn it properly...

Then add a Tower muffler- [X(]

I'm running a 9x8 on os46ax,turning about 14,5k with Mac muffler. Will it turn a 10x7 better? Is the tower muffler better than Mac muffler. Got DC f20 gona build and have Mag52 for it. Just wondering about os, I'ts on a Viper.--------------Revver #164

Very nice[sm=thumbup.gif]

Reminds me of the old RAAF Macchi MB326 "Fanta can" scheme of 77Sqn.

Major Pain- The 10x7 and 9x8 are similar loads... Minimal performance difference I bet with the AX- The Macs one piece black muffler? Yup the Tower unit will yield (educated guess coming-) 600 RPM's? for $13 bucks-

I actually like the AX and the P-Box muffler is an improvement from the SF/FX stock mufflers....A jett-Stream or Ultrathrust would probably get you 1K RPM's but both are pricey---

All IMHO

JK- Sweet looking F-20 man!

Thanks for info. Gonna get tower muffler to get me by until I get enough saved up for Jett. Hate to order just muffler when I really want the Jett.
