Default sonic 500 covering

got my sonic 500 the covering looked great really tight except that i can see the wood sheeting underneath it but nonetheless it was tight. untill it started peeling off. its my assumption that they just didnt use very good quality covering material. anybody know any good ways to get the covering off. the clear plastic layer separated leaving most of the color part on the wing.

Heat is your friend here. Use a heat gun to warm the covering as you pull it off and more of the adhesive will come up. It may not be perfect, but it's a lot better than doing it cold.

Default RE: sonic 500 covering

the covering on the s.a. planes i have purchased has been perfect. this includes 4 sonic 500s and 4 low wing sticks. the stick is a fast airframe. i have a 55ax in my current stickw/a 10x7 apc prop and using 15 % sinth fuel. its still to new to go all out. one thing i learned not to use on this type of covering is acetone. use rubbing alchol only, for cleaning. russm
