Default Whiplash or DD still available???

Are these still available? Looking for speed but the planes seem to be lacking, at least in the deltas. I have heard that they were coming out with a Whiplash X but there were delays. Any help would be appreciated.

WJM- The Whiplash-X is the 2nd version that had been around awhile--- The "new" version has not shown it's face yet.

I love the Whips but the Phenom looks awesome to me---

I am always on Ebay and in the swap-shop looking for Whips just in case

I saw the Phenom but have not heard to much about it. I saw there video and agreed with what alot of people said, that he needs to put a hotter engine in it and show what it can do. Crazy4Flight, have you had a chance to get yours in the air yet? Would like to here what you think.
Are they still selling the Whiplash X or was it discontinued for the replacement?

ACM stopped production of Whip X because the milatary orders for target drones and other aricraft left no time for whips to be built. They were hoping to get back in production soon. Somebody in Florida started to clone the whip but stopped production.

I sold my spare Whip X kit to Razor.

I sold My Spiderman Whip X last summer when cash was tight.

Killed My Purple Whip X with a servo mount failure.

I did get a Phenom a week ago no real work done yet. It has a superior surface finish. Engine & fuel tank cowl. Better elevon hinging. Servos mounted in the wing. It will get my new JETT .60 LX FIRE. And a custom Airbrush paint job. Just got snow here[&:], therefor the Phenom wont fly till spring.

I have two projects to complete first. And to top things off I lost the back plate to my JETT SS.40 on my work bench! [:@]

Thanks for the info, I will take a closer look at the Phenom. We dodged the bullet on the snow and only got a few inches but got lots of ice, I would rather have snow.

I do not need to see it fly with a hot engine...I got all the info I needed from Crazy- I just need to get through the holiday and then I will bite the bullet and buy one- My Jett-50 finally retired so I am hurtin' a bit---

I have my RIfle coming soon from Angel and I will use my West-50 on that

I sure appreciate Crazy parting with his Whip- She is going strong and I have vowed to always have a Whip (or now a Phenom) in my stable-

Vic and I talk about getting DD's also--- So many speed-planes so little time (or $ for me)
