Default Please help with rates on old Cermark F16 prop jet

I just picked up an older version of the Cermark F16 prop jet. This bird is ready to roll but I am unsure of the rates. I typically fly 3D and don't want to have a mishap. I went to Cermarks website but I did not see the manuals online. If anyone has any ideas, that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Wells they don't float around like some (dual rate) 3d plane. You need to keep power on it constantly right down to landing or it will drop from the sky like a brick. They are a blast to fly.

Let's assume that you have your CG set correctly first. I have mine set about 8 1/2 inches back from the root edge of the wing where it connects to the fuse. From there, your rates should be somewhere around here: Ailerons- about 5/8 is plenty, you might want to set that as your high rate and make your low a bit less. Rudder- as much as you can. Elevator- the tip of the leading edge closest to the fuse should travel about 1 inch for low rates, an inch and a quarter for highs. I use the high for short field takeoffs, and fly with everything else for the most part.

Remember- these things don't exactly hover all that great
