Please help with rates on old Cermark F16 prop jet
I just picked up an older version of the Cermark F16 prop jet. This bird is ready to roll but I am unsure of the rates. I typically fly 3D and don't want to have a mishap. I went to Cermarks website but I did not see the manuals online. If anyone has any ideas, that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Let's assume that you have your CG set correctly first. I have mine set about 8 1/2 inches back from the root edge of the wing where it connects to the fuse. From there, your rates should be somewhere around here: Ailerons- about 5/8 is plenty, you might want to set that as your high rate and make your low a bit less. Rudder- as much as you can. Elevator- the tip of the leading edge closest to the fuse should travel about 1 inch for low rates, an inch and a quarter for highs. I use the high for short field takeoffs, and fly with everything else for the most part.
