Default Laser Arrow..Fuel-tank jettison problem

I finally got my Laser Arrow today. I got to do the first flight of the Arrow last year. The owner had no flying experience and didn't want to crash it at the first go.I myself being abit concerned about the danger looks of the delta, fell in love as soon the plane got in the air. After the first flights I wanted to fly abit more aggressive, which ended up with the fuel tank halfway out. You Arrow guys probably know all about this special feature. Is there anything I should do on mine before I start building. I really want to fly this one hard! I am planning to install my wireless video cam in the leading edge to get more extreme shots, and I really would like the tank to stay in for landings!

Any comments?

Default Laser Arrow..Fuel-tank jettison problem

I painted the fuel tank area with epoxy and the inside of the hatch and I have never had any trouble with the guts falling out. I agree it is fun to fly.

mine never fell out and a have mega throws on the elevons!
try gluing some eighth ply to the sides of the tank bay and screwing in some little cup hooks, then put a rubber band on one , over the tank and into the other one, that should hold it.

its a great model.
