First flight of an OverPowered "White" model airplane on a seldom used runway and hearing a Full Size nearby. A quick glance to make sure the full size isn't landing and then I can Hear my model airplane, but can't See my model airplane...

How about taping a drinking straw to the fin of your Andrews Trainermaster (w/ Enya .60 ) to see if you can drag it across the concrete while inverted?
I left it sticking up above the fin about 1" to try and grind some of it off...heheheh...it didn't work...

After that attempt, I had an Enya .60 with the head fins ground off at a funny angle....

How about helping your student, who has mastered flying a Train-Air .40, with his first low-wing, a Sport-Air .40.
Said student was having a great time and flying inverted. Then, Something falls off the airplane. Hmmm... that
was the tank hatch. Something else falls off. Hmmm... piece of foam rubber. Something else falls out... there goes
the tank. Silence from the engine... as another bit of foam rudder and the Rx battery pack drop out... Said
student then hands me the transmitter(!), as he has done SOOOO many times before while learning to fly his first
airplane... Try and get out of that one!!!

RCM trainer 40...K&B .40...and not enough reinforcment on the wing center section...combined with full throttle snap rolls from wide open level flight...

SNAP...wooggaa woogga wooga...whump![X(] (that's the sound it made as it spiraled in from about a hundred feet )
One wing panel stayed on and the other fluttered down like a Maple seed...
I did pull the throttle back just before it hit though, to keep the dirt out of the carb...unfortuately, the carb got broken off at the front housing. (funny that the plastic Perry carb neck didn't break...the alum. front housing did!)

Having the wife hand you the Tx because a cloud has obstructed her view of the plane.

Watching your buddy demonstrating the new JR radio with all the buttons (mid 80s) while doing a inverted low pass, he bumps the snap roll button and all airplane components are traveling in unison (but not in one piece) at 80 mph down the runway COOL But Not Good.[X(]

Third flight of a scale Mustang with inner gear doors. Gear must go UP immediately from ROG. Retract switch is next to the Snap-Roll switch. OOPS! So much for 7 months of building!!!

Throwing your newly built and so far favorite mini 100mph 15" wingspan plane at WOT and pulling up to find out it was actually down because you are on the wrong model on your 9 CAP Super Futaba because you didn't click the save button as you thought you did switching models.......

Flying LOW and fast and hear a funny PHHHUuuuaaammmp as you see the two elevators pull out of the stab because you used a bottle of old thin CA instead of the new thin CA even tho the ca was alittle on the thick side now that its 3 months old. Guess it didn't wik very well!

Flying inverted for the very first time at ~50 feet over the runway when the engine dies and you pull for up elevator as you have always done before so far........ NOT A GOOD THING!

Actually, I did that! I have a Goldberg Skylark 56 years ago. I had just learned to do outside loops with it when I saw something fly off the plane. It was the hatch, fuel tank, foam and the battery. This time I was lucky though. It decended in a perfect gliding, inverted circle until it landed...WHEW! The only damage was a broken vertical fin.

That WAS a good thing!

HOWEVER...I watched as my good flying buddy was adjusting pitch curves on his heli transmitter with it still in idle up. The heli was on the ground and about 10 feet in front of him. He wasn't watching the heli, but looking at the transmitter screen as the heli ever so slowly started tipping to the left. I yelled, but he couldn't hear me over the heli noise as it struck the ground and did the "Dead Chicken Dance" right in front of him!.............NOT a GOOD thing!...but was funny...later.

Flying an approach at my local community center field, with a Picco .40 powered Sweet 'n' Low Stik, an approach which involved turning to final way out over top of a hydro transmisison line.. which, as I now know (ahem..) has a thin single conductor way up above all the rest. As I banked left I watched the left wing panel get magically sliced off in mid-air. I wasn't able to pull out of that one though I think I bent the right stick trying.

You'll never catch me flying there. That's [expletive deleted] nuts.

Beautiful job of getting that monster down smoothly in one piece...

Can't argue with your assessment of the situation... I'd take a boat first.

30 something flight of your avistar. Make a low turn to wards yourself, with the wind. Lose altitude. Accidently hit the aileron trim switch all the way over to the left. Plane rolls into the ground.....

A wasp decides to investigate the space between your glasses and eyeballs just as you make a low 170 mph pass with a Diamond Dust.

Hi

Which one do you think your flying, yours is the pile of bits over there.

A new plane "did you mean to build the wings upside down"

Why is your flight box full of fuel

Killing the engine on a GP Viper on final because you're flying at a marginal field and having the wind speed suddenly increase dramatically.
