Default Shrike 10 Balance

Hi everyone...
I built a Shrike 10 kit. I have finished and trying to balance it.
I have a Great Planes Balancer. I can get it to balance level, but when I barely touch
the front of the plane it will drop forward all the way,and the aft part of the plane
will drop backwards all the way if I touch it. Should the plane come back to level when I touch it ???
I would think it would rock back and forth it it was truly centered.
Thanks....

A plane like this will always go one way or another, it will never rock back and forth. This is because the CG is ABOVE the point where you support the plane. This is also why you balance low winged planes up side down.

Keep your Shrike level on the balancer, and then let go of it to see which way it goes. If it's a toss up, then your balance is spot on. It sounds good the way you have it now.
