What's the going rate for a non-R Magnum NIB? I have one and a Nelson to put in it but haven't gotten around to doing anything with it. I don't fly my original 8 year old one anymore since I have more than a few faster planes.

Well, first is a modified Magnum so it really doesn't count but it was faster. Second is a Sprint, very small, clocked by How Fast and Stalker Pro at over 160. Cyclone, clocked by radar over 200 and How Fast in a dive well over 200. Banditos, clocked by Bushnell (not very reliable at 195 on a soso flight. The F3D is a 230mph plane though I've never clocked it. Last is a mini electric DD that I just built and have a few flights on, somewhere around 150. I also had a Nemesis clocked over 200 and Diamond Dusts that run about the same speed as the Magnum stock with the Weston .50 and pipe.

I got my GP Viper 500 up today. Its got a TT46 first and I ran it on 15% Cool Power turning an APC 8.8 x 8.75 @ 16,000 RPM. The plane is SLOOOOOOOOOOW ... I read some place the plane on that set up will do 100-110 mph. Man, if that is 100 mph then my Fun Jet on 4S and 6S must be doing 140 mph. Time to get the real stuff huh? Composite plane ... Jett Q500 engine.

Let me explain how my addiction began. I left the world of the SLOW by complete accident. I bought a trashed 60 sized Yak 54 which I overpowered with a ST75. Then it started!!!! Insted of aerobatics I found myself sweeping around the flying field turning and dare I say it BURNING down the runway at 5 to 10 feet
What a rush. I then bought a Kaos 40 put an ABC 45 in it and the deal was sealed when one of the men from the club walked up to me during a TURN AND BURN session and said that plane is really fast. I found a header at the local hobby shop and am ordering a tuned pipe today from Mac's. I bought a tach the other day and all I can think about is.......MORE SPEED........and new planes that go even faster[>:] I am only a GRASSHOPPER and need to know what would be a good next purchase for my new addiction some sort of prop jet or whatever the MASTERS suggest. I went on Towers site yesterday and the Patriot is discontinued! I can't seem to find one of those Magnums either. I did find an F-20 at Juno RC. I am going to big RC Flea market in Lebanon,PA in two weeks hopefully I can find something there!
