Here is my Dart flying with a .8cc engine some speed passes and slower throttled down passes.

DART -Fuji .05 / Profi Tuned Pipe HQ 5x4.5N
Top end rpm check with a smaller prop
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IaQ4o_qXZ8 Published on Jul 24, 2016
Best pass 36,747 rpm 157mph 4x4.5 prop per audio tach brief burst rpm past camera slip not est.
With the right size plane the prop speed can be used to it's full advantage.
Per Doppler wave analysis: 238 kmh / 147.89 mph best pass.
Down wind shallow dives gets the rpm up the prop is too small into the wind.
This plane was originally built for TD .09 a smaller plane is needed to get
the most out of the engine. Anticipate 39k with this prop easy enough.
Test flight with a lower pitched prop.
NANO II - TD .010 / 2nd Trim Flight 2.7x3N Prop 118 MPH

NANO II - 2.2oz RTF / 35% nitro
Best pass vid 2 (this is vid 3) was 41.5k 118 MPH
Best pass vid 3 / 39,244 rpm 112 MPH

I'm still alive.............................Dad died August 31. Lost my "Wingman" but I inherited all his stuff and I do mean a LOT of it! He flew a lot of C/L combat back in the late 50's and 60's so I have picked up a handle and getting back into it myself once again. Refreshing and fun. Fun to feel young and simple again. Speedy-Gonzales ( Revver #182 I think? )
Thanks Dad for always having time to take me fishing, flying, and drag racing!!!

Thanks Scott,
Was going through my profile and found some PM's that never had notices for and responded to them.
I still have regular emails with FBD and Kmot from this thread as well as other great friends I made in the 1/2a forums.
Work and teenagers have slowed my roll with racing the last few years but I still build and fly. I've also been doing a lot more shooting/reloading and working on old Japanese motorcycles.

Hi James. Good to hear you are still kicken.
Just in case any of you are in NC this weekend we will be holding a Speed Rally on Saturday.
I've been pre-occupied with some other life stuff lately and haven't been able to fly as much to another clubmate picked up the flag and is running with it this year. I'm happy he did so, lots of people enjoyed coming to the past rallies.
