prop for DD and Sport Jett .50?
I just threw a jett 50 on my Diamond Dust, was hoping to get an idea on what prop to use for most potential speed, assuming it holds together .
Thanks

Bob will probably try to copy this info. but here goes:
If its a standard Sport Jett .50, the 9x7 is a good place to start, then move to a 9x8.
Good speed, good launch, good balance of performance.

I have well over 100 flights on two DD's with a Jett 50 and I always ended up back with a APC 9x8 for all around performance. To me it was a good balance of thrust and speed. Experiment a little to see what fits your style of flying.

What engine are you running? If it's the standard side exhaust version, prop it so it stays within Jett's recommended rpm range... like Mike said...
If it's the RE version, and you have it piped, you can set it up for a little more rpm and can probably make better use of the Q500 props: they tend to work better above average "sport" rpm levels.
