Default Problem painting my Patriot XL cowl

Hello,

I am in the process of painting my Patriot XL cowl using lustrekote spray. It works well except where I put some glazing putty. The glazing putty shows through the paint. Any idea of what I should do? I tried using a primer (not lustrekote brand) but it reacted with the lustrekote paint. I was thinking of only sanding where we can see the glazing putty, remove it and paint over it.

Thank you for your help,

Le fou
