Default Spread Spektrum With speed planes

I have a Magnum R and was wondering if anyone has been successfully using any of the new spread spektrum radios yet. Is range an issue?

Yes, they are being used by nearly (if not all) the JR / Horizon sponsored pilots in Pylon Racing. Both 422 (Quarter 40) and 428 (Quickie 500).

No issues that I am aware of.
