finally got to fly my plane since i put the jetstream muffler on the magnum 52 XLS..lol. just the noise of the engine got everyones attention. when they heard the rpms rev. they were like.. WoW thats alot of rpms.. fly it again!.. after all the attention i got at the field, i figured i would try to see if it worked as far as picking up on ladies.. and OMG Did it work! i was the Mac Daddy at the night club.
the moral of my story... jett stuff will make you famous and women will want you! =)

it's a catch 22 there Bob, when the women see you splurging the $$$ on the Jett engines they are all for it, but when they get their claws dug in they turn on you and you're no longer allowed (at least in their mind) to buy such extravagant items for 'Your Toys',

Where on this Earth did you find such a woman? I didn't think this was possible.

It constantly staggers me how my wife can be so uninterested in such things. I suppose the one benefit is that she doesn't come to the field, then start nagging to go home 12 minutes later. Oh wait, she does that before I leave.

She is also, apparently, unable to tell time or at least add time units together.

I can see the question on the math test now:

"Your husband leaves for the flying field at 8am. The field is 24km away and the posted speed limit is 80kph. He has taken two of his favorite airplanes, a cooler full of sandwiches and coffee and probably snuck in a 6-pack while you weren't looking. Three of his buddies are going too, and they will all bring beer. One of them has a new scale model he wants your husband to test fly. They all own field chargers. Each flight lasts an average of 10 minutes. It is a beautiful day with little wind.

What time will your husband be home?"

I can imagine the look of total incomprehension on her face.. [:-]

she wasn't the brightest light bulb in the pack, when i got ready to divorce her i told her, I'm leaving in 2 weeks (figured a two week notice was sufficient, I'm reasonable if anything), she said 'Oh you'll never leave me'..........after a week i said 'In 7 days'............then 'In 6 days'..........she just laughed every time till about 3 days left when she realized 'hey where is all your stuff??' then the 'brick' hit the fan. to add insult to injury i signed the papers on our anniversary

loved the first divorce so much a few yrs later i got another one, now it's just me and my 4 yrs old daughter and she absolutely loves the 'Rocket ship' airplanes and the 'whale-E cockers', she even has an electric Chipmunk hanging from her ceiling. my 1/4 scale Extra 300 is respectfully called 'Crabby Patty' and the canopy for it is 'Snappy Patty' she got the crabby patty from sponge-bob, who knows on the snappy part defiantly a Daddy's Girl.

When I got divorced 10 years ago, I tried to sign on our anniversary... court schedule was all a mess though -- I had to wait an extra 45 days.

I can't say my current marriage is entirely blissful... the kids and "family" are nice to come home to.

but its sorta like it is at work.... they let me work here.

About 25 years ago, we separated with divorce intent. I hadn't heard from her for at least 6 months. I guess one night she got lonely and showed up at my door real late. I was asleep and my girlfriend told me about it the next morning.

Proud owner of Nine Jett Engines, two Jett mufflers and only one fomer bride.

I sent her a bithday card the other week...Time to order a JETT 90 LX.

If the card came from the 1/2 off card store am I required to order from the Jett Hangar Sale list?

Nope. Just leaves more $$$ for the important stuff....

I plan on ordering a bunch of nice suspension parts for my bike and a new set of leathers once the papers are through. Sort of a present to myself for seeing the light and surviving the experience...Maybe I ought to add a Jett 35 to that list as well.

Nine years ago wife 2.0 appeared to be supportive of my sport, activities, and recognized that aircraft were an interal part of my life. Not much change through wife 2.3 and 2.4 although there was some indication of processor overload.

Wife revision 2.8 had some bugs in it, and subsequent upgrade 2.9 appears to have installed contempt.dll and annoying.dll as part of the annual upgrade. Must be new features.

Hmmmmm.... i wonder if Microsoft is involved here? Its a lot like Vista.....
