Default Blue Angels Rifle by Angel

So I received my Rifle yesterday in the mail. This is a kit that Angel makes, or used to make (he is quite busy on the T-38 and I think he may have stopped the Rifle kits for the time being). This is hands down the finest built and covered airframe I have ever seen.

I am a lousy builder and an average "coverer" so I asked Angel if he could get it to the ARF stage for me- Boy does it look amazing! I posts the pics with a heavy heart however as the scheme I have is Blue Angels #4 which is the number of the gentleman that lost his life last week in the #4. EVery flight will be dedicated to our aviators and to honor their sacrifice-

Back to the plane- I am just beside myself with the quality of Angel's work and I vow to fly it like I absolutely stole it

Angel you have built a work-of-art and I am honored to fly one of your "birds".

More pics as building process begins from here----

Yup, the wife made a chocolate cake....

I will most likely use my West-50 on the Rifle. It is on my Weston Magnum right now so I will just switch it if the magnum is still alive when I need the engine...

Angel is a class act and world class builder- I will fly with pride my friend!

By the way the airfoil seems thinner and sharper than the magnum and the size is about the same--- This thing is gonna haul butt!

Take care all!

"they" don't make these, Angel does. That is angelrcdesign, about 3 posts up. He did just comment that he has one V-tail version in ARC state for sale. A few months back he did also say he would make a short kit for me as that was all he has time for with the T-38 kits he is turning out. PM him and see what he says, no one else will know for sure.

Angel puts Q-500 lg on here but I would hate to put wheels on this ship....Maybe a dolly is in store, then I can land on a terry-cloth or something so as not to mess up the under-carriage.

Just as a side note this thing would scream with a 32SX or similar, the size makes this a versatile ship. I wish I had my old MVVS-GRRT

Now I have two blue and yellow birds...

I plan on running a TT 36Pro on a mousse can pipe when I get to building one. Should make for a light, easy flying screaming machine.

Let me know if it has the same whistle noise as the Magnum.
