Default novarossi c60f ?

I recently obtained a novarossi c60f with matching tune pipe all still new in the box from a fellow club member at a good price. My question is what would be a good plane for this awesome engine ? I have prop jets experience. Thanks !

....do you have any specs for the engine ?

Well I have never flown one but I would say its a screamer from what I can gather, the website rates it at 2.3 hp. I'm not sure on the torque or rpms the hp was rated at. Thanks

this engine basically runs just like the older Rossi 60 and 61 engines.

Put the pipe setup on it, set the pipe about 13.5" long, and bolt on an APC 11x7. Later you can probably shorten to 13.25"

As for an aircraft....... with the pipe it will likely work ok in a Patriot XL... just would take some thought for the engine/pipe install.

The AK models MIG23 would be a good choice too. The SU-27 might work as well.

Some of the older "60" size pattern ships would be obvious choices.... anything from a Kaos, Curare, Brushfire, T2-A, through later model stuff like an Illusion or LA-1. Even a good ultrasport 60 or KingKobra would move nicely with this engine up front.

You might get away with it on the Cermark F-18 --- full size pipe install is easier on the Hornet than on the F-16.

Thanks for the replies, I was thinking about a Patriot too. I might sell it though as I have already have too many projects going right now.

Thanks for the replies. I have decided to sell it over in the Buy & Sell section here.
