looks like a clone of the Lazer Arrow. You will find hatches on the bottom for servos, rx, and fuel tank. I have seen the tiger scheem on ebay for over a year by various sellers.

I got one. It's nice, very lightly built. IF I ever get my Stupid Tigre .40 FAI to run I'll give a flight report.

BTW, TLT Aviation are great to do business with, I've bought 5 planes from them, one was damaged no fault of theirs, and the made it right! Really good people to deal with.

Just a quick observation - if that is a ST40 fai engine, that prop looks wayyyyy to large. Start off with a 8.5x7apc (D-1 racing prop) and work upward from there slowly until you find where the engine will not run properly.

I think it'an optical illusion, it's only a 9x7. The problem I'm having is bubbles in the line, but I gooped the tank in, so it's a bear to get to the fuel lines.

The 9x7 is probbly still too big

For the bubbles, if you are litterally stuck with the tank installation, try the Armorall trick.

(I hate doing this, but it works sometimes). Just add 1/2 tsp of armorall to one gallon of fuel.

If the issue is a hole in a fuel line.... thats might require some surgury.

Thanks, I ordered some more props.

I had put the Goop on it so the ply formers the tank sits on wouldn't cut through the tank, I guess I should have waited until I knew everything was working before I Gooped it. [X(]

I have one of those. With a stock Thunder Tiger 40 or 46 they are a blast. Probably in the 115mph range.

Hey Guys,
I am a friend of the original poster of this thread. I got my plane and have put a OS SF.60 in it with a tuned pipe. Unbelievable is the word. I am trying different props right now, my current prop is a 12x10 and I'm turning about 10k RPM. I went to the hobby shop today and purchased a 11x8, any other suggestions to try an avoid buying 10 props?

Incidently i am very please with the plane, I would suggest however to anyone who isn't a pro to reinforce the motor mount area with some triangle light balsa. Had a slight problem landing and ended up having to do a repair. This plane does scream though, lot's of fun.
