Default Revvers Must Read

Happy 4th to all you crazy speed-freak *******s out there like me...

I salute:

Flyboy Dave- for giving engine advice not based on published HP stats. but based on MANY YEARS of hands on experience with these damned engines!

Vic- For being the long lost brother I wish I had, the Miss LA is an absoulte gem, as is your home brewed Shine

Bob27- For giving tried and tested advice, he spends hundreds of hours educating us mortals (and that is HARD WORK)

Combatpigg- For showing us what the "essence" of speed really is

Mods- This guy is literally a rocket scientist who is designing a pusher we ALL need!

Rudebvoy- he always says it like it is, and he knows what the hell he is talking about about even though he is not an American [X(]

Mike Connors- Holy crap I need one of those deltas... real-world speed at our finger-tips. Crazy ass pylon guys kno what SPEED is...

Wayne- For the largest font and most energetic posts of ALL -TIME! No revvers event can happen without you, I simply won't let it happen....

Tom and Troy- We owe them for making our crappy slow-flights look like speed events, may they continue to dub us good landings and may Tom let me fly that *****en F-20 with the sweet Webra muffler thing again...

And where the hell is Cobra traxxas? Get that show quality DD out here! LOL

2 Vicodin, 4 margaritas and 7 shots of tequila= This post.

Happy Independence day to you speed *******s! ( I need a Syd Clement delta to fly or a Chuck Auger modified Rossi to fly)

james

That muffler is the sickest thing out there[sm=thumbs_up.gif] All of our engines should sound like that.

I miss ol Chuck.

Thanks for the post bro.[8D]

Razor, a little speed secret here......take a 100 mph plane, then take a vicodin, now you have a 150 mph plane [8D]. Each vicodin seems to be good for about a 50 mph gain.
I miss Chuck Auger too, he contributed alot. This forum lost quite a bit when he vanished.
Der Steuermann was another great contributor. Hard core speed freak, the only thing he would use a 9x7 for would be to make a sandwich.
Thanks should go out to I-love-jets for his input here, too. His posts about piston speed planes and speed engines are fantastic.

You said on the video, "yeah that does sound good, doesn't it!"

http://www.rcuvideos.com/item/8FW5ZDB82315XVR5

The engine is a new Webra 50 GT but the muffler is a 30 year old vintage Slimline.

Hey there... Happy July.... ummmm.... 6th !

Thanks for the kind words Razor.... and I echo your sentiments to all here. Great bunch of guys.

BTW... if you want some good engine noice, I have a couple of the MACs Q-500 flow-through mufflers laying around
(one might even have the useless inlet plug... never did much to quiet it up)

I will let you know the next time I get out there. With the last turn-out I am most likely just going to go visit Razor's home field. I figure if it's just me him and FBD again, Dave can make the trip this time.
