the nose looks way too short be a scale f-4 and the anhedral in the tail isnt enough.....but for $109 its not too bad. I also dont think this will be a speed demon either.

RAZOR:

Looks alot like their older 25 size F-16 of a few months back. Construction ok, covering material cheep, flys fairly quick with a Webra 35 and Jett pipe, lands like a LR-1 with a 40 stuffed in her. Gave it to a newby trying to learn to fly quick stuff. This young man (20s) I hope to introduce to you and the gang including Buddude 8 and Daven maby next year at Tuson. Darn kid is one of those we all love and hate. Soloed his first day, flying 3 months and now after my poor old butt in the quick stuff club racing class. Thanks to tretchery, it wont be this year, but all too soon I suspect. Daven kindly called me out, a no no to a old war horse, so will try to answer maby next Tuson. Gotta be fairly soon, won't be around foreaver. ENJOY

I live for 3D: I agree it looks stubby but something about it gets me--

Tom: yeah those are both Lanier propjets I had the F-4, very well built but not very good flight characteristics- The F-86 I always liked but I thought I read mixed reviews of its flight envelope also---

Nitro has that other thing that looks a bit like a Patriot- FBD bought one but has not finished it that I have seen...

Rmenke: Great post as usual---I look forward to meeting you if possible, you seem as speed-crazy as the local Revvers

The Lanier Sabre flies great, just make sure your CG is correct (6"). If it's too far back, you will be very unhappy. For $120, I might just buy another, if only for the extra wing to butcher for retracts.

I played with the CG. Flew it. Then gave the plane way. Better homes for radio gear and engine.

I got this F4 on Ebay, probably same maker as the Nitroplanes version. Had OS46 in it and was not impressed with the speed, 100mph if I was lucky and coming out of a dive. Airframe not as clean as say the F20. The jet front intake area would not allow you to hook up a pipe without major mods. Anyway, bird crashed after 5 flights from a Corsair style death spin that I could not break out of.
