Default Hinge ? on my Patriot

So i decided to recover my patriot and in the process add retracts. But while i took all the covering off i realized it had skinned hinges and so as careful as i could be i tried not to pull the skinned hinges up, but they did a little bit in the corners and some of them a bit more. (See pics.)

My question is being ive never done skinned hinges can i simply just glue these back down?

Crash:

Don't think I would trust the old skin hinges at this point. Only 20-30 minutes to take it all off and replace with something superior like the Dubro metal pin/nylon hinges, or robarts. Think of it as insurance. Some old birds simply are worth the effort, sounds like yours is. ENJOY

lol - well then thats jsut great. Now ill have to rebuild and re-cover just as soon as its done right? Dang it shouldn't have said that then.

I agree though my patriot..oops i mean Patriot flew and tracked beautifully and it impressed tons of people 3ft off the ground inverted going full speed. Unfortanetly for it, it was replaced this year with my Mach Racer doing the same manuvers but even faster! It was clocked going 112mph on a slow prop setup and on a weaker engine then it's got now, it was pretty warm and humid too. .46 tt pro with 9.5*7.5 (i had just broke the 9*9 it was using) -- now its got a Magnum 45 XLS with a 10*8 and a tower tuned muffler. MUCH FASTER, DEFINETLY! I might have a pic of it doing that somewhere i'll have to look it looks awsome.

I'm still looking for the pic of the new Patriot scheme i had. Ill find it soon and then post it here.

Darion
