Force One, it's baaack
For 2 1/2 years it was parked on my freezer. The canopy/servo cover had come loose and went back though the prop. It sounded like a tree shredder in the sky and than it rained black mono coated confetti. I finally found the time to repair the prop slot and make a new cover yesterday. The battery was hopeless because it sat so long. The Evolution 46 NT got a new wood 10X6 pusher and it was off to the field. Let’s just say a Diamond Dust it is not. I had forgotten how loud the prop was with the blades chopping air through the slot, making a loud attention getting howl. It looked like 100 mph and sounded like warp nine! The landing reminds me of a nose high space shuttle LOL.

RE: Force One, it's baaack
Thanks' Guys
No videos of any of my ships yet, it's high on my to-do list.
I've been talking to a fellow flyer and I think he can keep things in frame if I que him in on my next move. LOL
I fly fast, very low with hard turns.

Keep the pictures and videos coming, I'm looking for a nice scheme, and a nearly full black one is rather appealing. Isn't it hard to fly it ? I mean don't you get disoriented with that colour ?

No it’s very easy to see. It was done on purpose, for these 50 year old eyes need every bit of help at these speeds!
The 3" florescent red stripes on top and the florescent green on bottom stand out very well agianst the black and very easy to see in the sky.
Orientation, direction at great distances is easy to tell.
The only things bad about the black is it gets hot quickly if left out in the sun, and shows dirt and scratches more.
All of my speed planes have the hot colors on top, except one are this way, I've almost killed that odd plane because of that.
Time to recover the Outlaw. For me, the best color scheme for vision is all florescent red on top, tail, edges and all black on bottom.
This also makes this cool strobing effect at high roll rates
