How fast could I expect to go with a Diamond Dust equipped with a strong .46 TT Pro - standard muffler baffle removed, at 6000' ASL, optimally propped for speed? I know you probably don't have an exact answer, but this will be my first "speed" plane and I'd like a rough estimate. Thanks guys,

Kevin

Kevin,

Most likely faster than anything at your field. Start with a 9x9 prop and take the baffle out of the muffler. You should be able to reach around 110 mph or so.

Default Dust Speed at 6000'

My guess would be close to 100 mph but I would start with a 9x6 at that altitude

have a friend record your flight, video or just sound, and have a play with the doppler shift program on my site to get your speed
